Logan Murphy is a Mental Golf Type Certified Coach based in Illinois and a PGA Class A Specialized Professional in Golf Operations and Teaching & Coaching. Since beginning his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Effingham Country Club in 2014, Logan has held key leadership roles, including Head Professional at Charleston Country Club and, most recently, St. Clair Country Club.

A collegiate golfer for four years at Rend Lake College and Columbia College, Logan combines his playing experience with an extensive background in golf instruction. In 2023, he founded Logan Murphy Golf LLC to pursue his passion for teaching and coaching full-time. Logan has studied under many of the industry’s top instructors, including Scott Cowx, Dana Dahlquist, Jon Sinclair, Mike Adams, Terry Rowles, EA Tischler, James Sieckman, Tyler Ferrell, Scott Fawcett, and Will Robins.

Committed to staying at the forefront of golf education, Logan holds certifications in the American Development Model (ADM), Forces and Motion (Dr. Phil Cheetham & Dr. Sasho MacKenzie), US Kids Golf, BioSwingDynamics, Sportsbox AI 3D, and Boditrak. He also integrates advanced technology like TrackMan and 3D data into his lessons, delivering a cutting-edge learning experience.

Logan’s coaching philosophy is rooted in understanding each player’s unique needs. He begins every coaching relationship with a detailed player assessment, ensuring the instruction aligns with the individual’s goals. By fostering strong relationships and providing personalized programs, Logan is dedicated to helping golfers achieve lasting success both on and off the course.
